ASUS Ac-68U 2.4Ghz speeds worst

Guys, I recently upgraded my internet plan from 100MBPS to 500MBPS. When I was on 100MBPS, I used to get 100+ or -10 exceeding my expectations. When I moved to 500MBPS, upgraded to DOCSIS3.1 and when I ran thru Ethernet using my PC, I get 450-MBPS. But when I do speed test sitting next to wireless router I still get only 80-100MBPS. Used WiFi analyzer disabled many things and enabled some based on feedback from different posts. No Luck. I am on 384.13 Merlin build. I have even reset the wireless router and a new SSID. Any suggestions are appreciated. On 5Ghz, I get some decent like 300-450MBPS

On 2.4 mine is set to 20Mhz. Did everything suggested by looking at all the recommended posts. But no luck. Even

This is all you can get on 2.4GHz 20MHz channel. Pretty good, actually.
Your link speed is most likely 144Mbps close to the router, can't go any higher.

Your 5GHz client uses 80MHz channel, probably 2x2 AC, link speed up to 866Mbps
Throughput about 400Mbps, or what you actually see. Everything works as expected.

Disable TX Bursting, valid for G clients only.
Disable TurboQAM, if you don't have clients using it.
Disable Beamforming, doesn't work on 2.4GHz anyway.

Mbps... not MBPS, Megabits per second, not Megabytes.

Dang, thinking mine is not working, I went and ordered a wireless router wrt32x. I may have to return it..
