I have a Asus GT-AX11000 router, and I’m wondering if I can connect a Asus twin pack AX 1800 to my router as mesh nodes ?

Grazie.

Hi, unfortunately I discovered the forum only after switching to asus .. for economic reasons an extended house with many rooms and for a personal whim I wanted to switch to wifi 6. So I bought a router GT AX 11000 and 9 ax 1800 as nodes of mesh.
Unfortunately I find it very difficult to find the right balance between the wifi settings of asus.
Currently 7 x 1800 are active, all connected via ethernet cable. I also found that the GT AX 11000 has the 5 ghz band 1 going up to channel 64, the 5 ghz band 2 from channels 100 onwards.
The question is the ax 1800 nodes are dual band, the gt 11000 instead tri band ... does it make sense to deactivate a band of the gt ax 11000? If so, which one? To have a higher speed in the 5ghz band I should deactivate the 5ghz band 1, is my thought right? Also I would be very happy if someone could tell me what the best wifi settings are. Thanks.
