Asus don't release there GPL anymore?

Merlin's firmware version for the RT-BE96 is now 2 late versions, giving the impression that Asus no longer supplies its GPL to Merlin. Asus already has a big problem with its speed to fix bugs in its firmware. What more do they block Merlin in the development of its version?

No, there is currently no problem between Asus and me. I get my GPL directly from Asus, what's on their website is irrelevant to this project. Stop comparing version numbers, they don't mean much. My code already contains some of the fixes you see in their recent releases.

that's a bit of a problem - Asus needs to release the GPL source to everyone, e.g. make it public...

That is NOT what the GPL licence requires. It requires that it to be provided when asked, nowhere is it stated that it must be available on a website.

And in my case, I need specially crafted GPLs because they must all be the same version, unlike web releases that are scattered. Which was why I was saying that what's on the websites is irrelevant to my project.

no they do not, all their obligation is in regards to the GPL is that the source is available on request, even if it is a redacted tarball excluding their own blackbox they would be fulfilling their obligation, there is no obligation for the received package to be buildable.
