Hi guys I need your advice on the GT-AX11000 with firmware version : 3.0.0.4.384.9566

Since I got this, I normally experience these reboots every so often. It stops being connected, all WiFi / WAN LED resets and goes back to normal. The router itself does not actually reboot but the LED display turns OFF & ON red intermittently. It basically just reboots/resets the connection and everything goes back to normal. This happens once or twice a day and I have no Idea what's triggering it.

Have you encountered this issue and may I know what you guys did to fix the issue.

Thank you very much!

Been checking that out for weeks now and there's no unusual readings or errors being reported :) Here's part of the SYSLOG before and after the connection reboot.

Your problem may lie with this I found in syslog
Code:
13:05:13 kernel: wlcsm: module license 'Proprietary' taints kernel.
May 5 13:05:13 kernel: Disabling lock debugging due to kernel taint
May 5 13:05:13 kernel: jffs2: notice: (158) check_node_data: wrong data CRC in data node at 0x00688194: read 0x7fcecfa3, calculated 0xf489d

Maybe you should try formatting JFFS on next reboot in administration>system. AND do you have
Code:
crash log filename is /jffs/crashlog.log
?

First of all I want to thank you for spending time looking and checking out my problem :) really appreciate the help. Secondly, the problem you mentioned is actually beyond my knowledge of expertisehehehe so I'll be asking you what exactly you think is causing the problem. But I'll try to do a JFFS format as recommended. I hope this fix my problem. Thanks so much and stay safe!

If this does not solve problem I would do a full factory reset and configure everything again from scratch - not from a backup file. These error messages as quoted above probably happened as a consequence of router rebooting itself ie - a software reboot, it suggests that the filesystem wasn't properly unmounted.

Got it! I'll try to do it tonight and do a fresh setup of the router without restoring the settings from my backup. :) Thanks thanks and more thanks!

So far so good :) , since I don't have the option for "formatting JFFS on next reboot" (not using a Merlin Firmware) what I did is a clean factory restore and manually configured it. Will monitor it the whole day and hopefully I won't experience any connection issue this time. Thanks so much for the help and will keep you updated. Stay safe!
