Did some more testing and even changing authentication methods see if the AIMESH NODE is messing those up but I wouldn't see why ? Since the android mobile phone connects perfectly well on the main node, wetter it's wifi 7 or 6, WPA 2P, 2/3 or 3P it's all fine. But once I go upstairs to the 2nd node (also BT98) it refuses to connect... stuck on "obtaining ip" and zilch. Same for a Samsung Tizen TV. Won't connect to the node. So went back 3 firmwares then they all connect fine again, it's the last 3 firmwares that messed it up.

Any1 a clue ? (already send feedback to Asus but no dice)

Found another bug, this update (or the former most likely) killed instant guard. It connects but no more access to my local ip devices.

I have the same problem. With which firmware does the connection to the node work? I specifically notice that this happens when you force the connection to 5ghz. If you activate 2.4ghz it works.

As far as the router being a wireless router on this version, it's excellent.

But since this firmware, my start-at-boot lighttpd doesn't work. I have Entware installed on Stock ASUSWRT, and a few boot scripts to start a swap file, NUT (for monitoring a UPS), and a lighttpd server (for monitoring local clusters that report their status here). Since the last update, lighttpd doesn't successfully start on the first boot of the router. Swap does, NUT does, but lighttpd doesn't. If you ssh into the router after it's booted and run the script, it will start successfully, but if you don't do this it will show as started, but not work or be accessible.

Has anyone else encountered this?
