If you updated to the latest firmware, UPnP is disabled instead of enabled by default.I noticed a strange situation:
I have four consoles:
Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PS5.
Previously, with the AX82U DSL, I got Open NAT on all of them (with UPnP enabled on the AX82U DSL).
Right now, I'm playing with the Xbox Series X...and I get moderate NAT.
The solution was to put IP in DMZ.
I'd like to point out that if I changed the port on the Xbox, I didn't get Open NAT.
The same thing happened if I deleted the Xbox's MAC address.
Another strange situation:
If I disable the firewall, I get Limited NAT!
All tests were done by restarting the router and Xbox after the various changes.
Could it be that UPnP isn't working properly?
Could it be that NAT isn't working in Full Cone NAT mode?
Yes, I knowIf you updated to the latest firmware, UPnP is disabled instead of enabled by default.
You'll either have to manually port forward, or enable UPnP.
Most likely it's Symmetric NAT, it's been quite a while since the Full Cone NAT was removed.Could it be that NAT isn't working in Full Cone NAT mode?
