Release ASUS GT-BE98 Pro Firmware version 3.0.0.6_102_37849 (2025/07/18)

Any updates about AFC?
I think until ASUS applies for the AFC DUT harness compliance report for this specific router then it will remain disabled.

Other brands access points / routers below have applied for it, but I think BQ16 Pro and GT-BE19000 still doesn't have it enabled on their firmware yet:

Do we know exactly what version of wifi driver is being used in this fw?

I had a hiccup this morning, when all clients (wired and wireless on all bands) lost internet. All clients were still connected to the router. The router did not see a loss of internet and showed nothing wrong. Doing a system reboot recovered everything back to normal. I saw this behavior a few times on a previous firmware version when I first bought the unit (can't remember which version). But, I never had it happen on the 37839 version. We'll see if it was just a single event, or if a pattern develops.

Also there is memory leak in this version, like the last.

Merlins last 2 beta versions have zero memory leaks. So far beta 2 is running perfectly. It is using the latest wirless drivers (6/2025) and a much higher build number. I switched to Merlin. Give it a try.

I actually just updated the firmware and use the same existing settings from the stock firmware and its perfect

I assume you manually entered settings, and did not use a settings file from the official Asus firmware with Merlin firmware?
