Hello Members.

Here is my situation and hoping someone can point me in the right direction...

I currently have a 30/5 MBps cable connection. I recently purchased the Asus RT-n66u router based on the positive reviews. I have the router connected to my Motorola SB6121 modem. I then have my TV, PS3, Xbox, and Blu-Ray player hardwired to the Asus router. Wirelessly connected is my iPod Touch and laptop. Normally, only one of these devices are connected to the router to maintain bandwidth. Here is my problem...

Is it possible to connect a 1.5 TB external hard drive to the router and share my video and music files on my Xbox 360 Slim (newest version) and/or my PS3? Basically, I want to be able to watch my .avi movies on either of the game consoles (which again are wired to router) and/or watch them wireless via my laptop. Is this possible? I was thinking all I had to do was format the HD to Fat32 or Fat32x then connect the HD to the router and allow the folders on the HD to be shared among the xbox360, ps3, and/or the laptop. Am I thinking this through correctly? Thanks for any help. It is much appreciated.

I have PS3 and I can wireless stream HD movies w/o issue over my network to my PS3
so I sure if the PS3 is hardwired it should be able to
just sayin
