New Around Here
Hello Everybody!!

So I got new cable internet Down 24Mbps(Though 24-70 is reported from users) and I Mbps. I plan on getting new router and am looking at these two options.

1. ASUS RT-N66U

and

2. ASUS RT-N56U

I have gone through the details of these two routers. Here is the one in which author mentions that performance wise there is not much difference:

Usage and Preconditions

I live in kinda small apartment so the signal wont be an issue.

I torrent (upload mostly 24/7) so even minor boost in upload speeds are important, cause I compete against seedboxes with high uploads to seed.

Price is no issue if I get the visible bump in performance.

Video streaming and Gaming are secondary

I am probably not gonna use any high end/complicated featured that accompany ASUS RT-N66U. So those are out of equation.

So do I really need to go for N66??

Thanx a ton for the help in advance :D

Buying a router with routing speed more than 5% higher than your service provides no benefit.
