Asus N66U USB drive issue

This is driving me nuts - probably really stupid question, but...

1. I have attached a simple USB powered drive to my n66u but what exactly do I need to set up in order to see this shared drive on my mac and windows machines? I can see the drive from within the web GUI but I want to see it as a normal drive in my windows explorer and the mac but it doesn't let me..

2. And secondly, I have attached my sonos system which works well but if I configure the router to be an iTunes server then iTunes on my mac/pc can see the music but my sonos refuses to recognise it. Do I really have to go down the full nas route?

Go to usb app.
I used the download master...Install.
The drive now shows up in my network folder/RT-N66U/(name of you drive)
