ASUS NT 56U NOT MOUNTING HARD DRIVE

Hi all,

I've researched this issue for hours before posting, and can't seem to find a solution.

I have a ASUS NT 56U router w/ latest firmware : 3.0.0.4.378_4850

I bought a 2 TB Western Digital (WD) My Passport for Mac and it shows router as unmounted no matter what I do.

I called WD and got no help. They said I had the latest firmware for the hard drive.

What do I do ? I know people connect hard drives to routers all the time but no luck here.

If it's formatted HFS/HFS+, you might need to reformat the drive as EXT4 or NTFS...
