@killweav Thanks for the kind words. I'm not in IT but I have been involved in computers since Fortran 4. I don't do anything fancy either with my router, I port forward a few ports, assign several DHCP drives (Home Automation stuff) static IPs, that is about it. My WiFi is not Isolated from the LAN either. There is nothing that I need high speed for except I have a 10Gbps connection on my NAS and 5Gbps on my Desktop computer, just so backups don't take very long when I'm sitting on the computer. I do turn off my desktop every night, the NAS I do not. I will be testing out the 10Gbps link on the BE92U, although I doubt the Cat 5E cable in my house run from the Desktop to the Router is short enough to work reliably. 2.5Gbps works great. Honestly, that is fast enough for my household. I will look into the Merlin firmware for this router as well but before I flash it, I will give the stock firmware a fair shake.
