Asus RP-N53 as an AP?

It looks like this little dual band repeater would make an ideal home AP.

Anyone using it as an AP? What kind of real world speed can you get out of it in AP mode?

I am looking for an inexpensive way to extend 5Gz to my upstairs and this little guy looks promising.

I noticed that the RP-N53 only has a 10/100 network port so I ended up getting a NETGEAR EX6100 instead... Works not to bad as an AP.
