ASUS RT-AC66U, OpenVPN client routes

Hi there,
I have upgraded my router to 3.0.0.4.374_2050 and setup an OpenVPN client profile to an external OpenVPN server that I have access to, it works perfectly but when I disconnect the VPN, the routes persist and the VPN interface of the router is still up, it will only go away if I reboot my router.
Is it a but of the OpenVPN client or is it something in the .opvpn profile?
