ASUS RT AC68U crashing

Hi guys,
I have an ASUS RT AC68U and in random time intervals the router just stops responding. I lose the wifi and the wired access and everything drops dead. When I reboot the router everything works fine until the next drop occurs. I had like 30 min gap to hours ...

I checked the router and it is not too warm.

I tried installing the latest firmware as well as the latest merlin firmware. Didn't change a thing.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried resetting the device and not restoring it from a backup?

I am having the same issue. Will try a ful reset and see.
