I'm connected using 2.5 gig port idk why I'm getting speed test results as if I'm connected to the 1 gig wan port

When doing speed test modem to router, I'm using the Ethernet cable that came with router...

Btw last night I was getting over 1000 mbps results idk what happened

When I was on spectrum 500 mbps plan the speed test between the Netgear CM2000 modem and router was giving me speed tests results of 594 mbps, and wifi speed test also way over 500 mbps..... I upgraded to 1 gig tell me why the speed test from modem to router is under 1 gig and my wifi test is...

Another person confused and challenged in the quest for high bandwidth. AKA Speed.
They should chill and enjoy what the have. Plenty of users in my area are still on 10/1 DSL.
