The RT-AX86U didn't either. I had to manually download and flash for that one as well. Usually the internal updater picks up on new versions. There was an update for that model the same day as this.
 
I haven't seen anything adverse out of this firmware yet but then again the router is a node so I don't really interact with it anymore. It primarily handles appliances at the other end of the house and my robot vacuums when they go down there and I haven't received any connectivity warnings from them since updating.

Same here, no issues on node.
 
Mine started restarting on its own after this update, I did a factory reset, but it keeps restarting out of nowhere.
