your link not work
Try copy and pasting it into your web browser. For what ever reason Asus (or the browser) doesn't like a HTML link direct to the firmware file.

Upgraded a two router AI Mesh using the mobile app yesterday afternoon and roughly 20 hours later seems fine. No obvious issues.

Anecdotally, everything seems status quo, but it’s a very vanilla setup. So as long as WiFi and wired connections are working with no major or obvious changes, I’m good.

AX88U-Pro Firmware upgrade to version 3.0.0.6.102_33421 observations...

Simple network with (2) wired VLANs. No mesh nodes.
  • Initiated update by mobile app => SUCCESS. No issues observed during firmware upgrade.
  • Logged into router GUI => SUCCESS. Used same password prior to upgrade (< 10 characters).
Check to see if it is possible to Block Internet Access to specific VLAN devices using Network Map => NOT POSSIBLE.

Check to see if it is possible to Block Internet Access to specific VLAN devices using Firewall - Network Services Filter => PARTIAL SUCCESS.
  • Per Asus note, “https cannot be blocked”.
  • However, the Source IP field now accepts VLAN device IP addresses, which was not possible with earlier firmware versions.
Check to see if it is possible to Block Internet Access to specific VLAN devices using Parental Controls:
  • Using Web & Apps Filters => PARTIAL SUCCESS.
    • Set filter to block all services for a VLAN client (wired TV):
      • Adult
      • Instant Message and Communication
      • P2P and File Transfer
      • Streaming and Entertainment
    • As long as client is powered on, there is no blocking.
    • If client is powered off and then on, blocking occurs.
    • If uncheck the check box in front of rule, streaming service is restored.
  • Using Time Scheduling [Disable] and [Block] => SUCCESS.

There has been no conversation about this version. Anyone know what specifically was fixed/changed as part of:

- Enhanced system stability

What was enhanced?

Quiet thread is good. If you never experienced system instability this specific part of the firmware changelog just makes you feel better.

Agreed. Was curious if there was more detail on what tweaks were made.

I’m a “how” kind of guy. 😄

As I remember you have 2x identical units in wired configuration. This by itself makes your overall system stability potentially higher. Not too many units, all running the same firmware and with the best possible connection between them. So don't ask any questions... 🤭
