Asus RT-AX88U wireless radio problem

Hey guys as the title states. I m having a connection problem with my 2.4ghz signal,connecting to my phone and tablet whenever I'm outside my apartment, this started about 3 weeks ago just out of nowhere,I used to be able to connect outside without a problem....I think my router is dying or my 2.4ghz radio has gone bad,I brought the router brand new 2 years ago, is there a way to repair this or do I need to look for a new router? I have did a complete factory reset twice and still the same problem....

With home routers if the Wi-Fi itself is not well, then it stops all together. The problem in apartments can often be too many competing Wi-Fi Access points, resulting devices struggling the further you get away from your own router. I'd try running an app such as "Net Analyser" on your phone which will show you the utilisation. If it shows acceptable utilisation inside your apartment, but not outside then you might have to consider moving the router or escalating the Wi-Fi war by adding an AP where it can be picked up when you are outside.
*Ensure your 2.4GHz is using 20MHz bandwidth, it may seem counterproductive but it's not!

Is anything using the router USB3.0 port? Is anyone using a 2.xGHz cordless device near the router? These can disrupt connecting a 2.4GHz client at distance.

Does the 2.4 WLAN show up normally/strong on clients when you go to connect to indicate the signal is 'looking' normal?

Have you tried setting a different 2.4 channel at 20MHz bandwidth... apartments can have a lot of WiFi competing for air time.

No nothing cordless is nearby , yes when I'm in the apartment everything shows a strong signal when I connect using my phone,tablet,laptop, and computer tower .... I did change my bandwidth to 20mhz last nite so I will test it out today and see if that helps will let you know

These are 2 analyzers I use everything looks good inside the apartment, it's when I get outside when it drastically changes and like I said the last 3 weeks,before I used to be able to pickup to my car in the parking lot which about 90 - 100 feet away

Which AP is yours, Cudy_6879? What about ASUS_18_2G that also looks to be yours?

I would do another set of Wi-Fi scans from your parking lot and compare.

Here is a picture of where my car is( the gold chrysler 300m) looking from my apartment window my router is in the frontroom by the window ,this should give you an idea of the distance I was getting a signal from and to which I thought was very good but something has changed....I m thinking there are a new routers in my building that maybe overpowering my once strong signal

the Cudy is my cellular router I even turned off the wifi on it before to see if it made a difference...nope it did not plus I use the cudy wifi for my wireless printer because my asus was stopped working with my printer wireless

If your Wi-Fi has worked at the distance your car is parked in the past, then I think you've been lucky, and you need to lower your expectations a little. So I wouldn't be buying a third router to fix something that isn't really broken. I'd probably be spending time and effort to get the printer back up and working on the main network, and moving away from the default network names your router(s) came with.

Well I got my printer connected back to my Asus router using WPS PIN, and I turned off the Cudy cellular wifi it seemed to help with my reception outside plus I turned universal beam forming back on on the 2.4GHZ channel

The 1st graph is halfway between my car and apartment building, just a side note you see that Core G suite signal,that building is 3/4 of a block away from me....what do you think they are using setup wise to broadcast that far with a decent signal

I think what you've shown, is that your router is working "within spec". From what you've posted I would assume there are retail units below the apartments. As for the "Core-G" network, it may be that they have multiple Access points, including on the outside of the building facing your block/carpark.
*Looking at your output from Net Analyser app, it may be that at some point I've either paid for a pro version or was on a beta program that gave me additional features. *Not all alpha/beta programs are worth signing up for especially with IoT devices - the program ends and suddenly you lose functionality!

Thanks to ALL you guys help after doing some tweaking on my settings in The AX88u it seems to be working better got my printer back connected correctly and just about got my range almost like before....I want to note one other thing there were about 6 new residents that moved in my building and they all have wireless routers either through T-Mobile or Verizon plus all the cable services so the airways have gotten more crowded there are 65 apartments and over 75% have some type of wireless routers
