It always takes a while for the servers where the firmware can be downloaded to synchronize.

It's a Notice. They have to disclose the data collection now and you need to agree to it. Before there was no such requirement and your data was collected without your consent. In EU every website you visit offers choices of what you want to share. It is a bit annoying, but perhaps a step in right direction.
