New Around Here
Hi all,
My DIR-855 died for the 2nd time after a 2nd RMA so instead of going through the RMA hassle again i went searching online for a new router. The Asus RT-N16 seems like a crowd favourite at the moment with its great specs, stability and features, but i noticed on a few reviews that it's not Playstation 3 compatible because it's missing DLNA complience.
They say that it's impossible to stream video from a HDD attached to the routers USB port to the PS3. Would this also mean that the Playstation network is also unavailable as well? I don't actually have a Playstation 3 yet, but i'm getting one this christmas so i'd hate to buy a router now that won't support my shiny new christmas present!
I need a good stable wireless router to support the new incoming PS3, 2 laptops and a desktop and various handheld devices. My only tasks are really just Gaming and internet usage as well as wathcing a few videos over hte wireless, but nothing major. I thought the Asus RT-N16 would fit the bill, but not being PS3 compatible is a deal breaker or have i misunderstood something?
Many thanks
