Asus rt-n56u drops incoming PPTP VPN connections randomly

New Around Here
Hi folks, I just replaced a dir-655 with an asus rt-n56u. I have a windows server 2008r2 vpn server behind it and I can make a pptp connection to it just fine. It will then randomly drop the connection anywhere from 15-60 seconds after it's made... Any thoughts? I am on the latest firmware (going to try some older versions tonight) and have all of the proper ports forwarded and pptp passthrough enabled. If I can't get it to work it will have to go back for a cisco e4200 :(.

Update: It seems to disconnect after 1:15, so maybe it's not so random... I can also get a server 2003 client to connect permanently, it just seems to be a problem for the windows 7 pptp client, very strange.

If you have one of the latest firmwares with VPN passthrough enable it for PPTP. If you enable anything else but PPTP it will disable the hardware NAT acceleration. Maybe this will help?
