Asus RT-N66U doesn't support IP fragments?

svoltmer

New Around Here
I recently bought a Asus RT-N66U for use with my PS3's. When I check the network connection via the PS3 Internet connection test, it states that my router doesn't support IP fragments. This is causing all large downloads done in the background to get corrupted. The files download from the que, but they only install to 14% then give the Error 80029564 on the PS3 console. I was told that it could be the MTU size, but there is no setting on the Asus RT-N66U for MTU unless using PPPoE.

Has anyone found a solution to this issue?

You need to have the MTU size correct otherwise you will create packet fragments. Usually the MTU size for PPPOE is 1492 but it could be smaller.
