Asus RT-N66U vlan support via MERLIN firmware request

New Around Here
Hey guys, I have a problem with a credit card machine at a small business client of mine. A relatively simple solution is to put the credit card machine on it's own vlan because we are having some issues with PCI compliance.

I've browsed the Merlin firmware 376.47 currently installed on the device and have had no such luck with a setting to assign one of the 4 lan ports to it's own vlan.

I am not confident/competent enough to ssh into the router to make the change. Hoping there is a gui setting I'm missing or possibly in a newer release.

Thank you very much!

I will test this on my router before I go live at clients. My only concern is having to redo it on firmware updates.

Keep a copy of all the involved commands in a script that you can simply re-execute on new configurations. It will actually be faster to redo than if it were done through the GUI.

Awesome, the creator speaks!

I just got off of the phone with PCI compliance office. They do an outside scan and claim a device called "printer" has ports open to the outside world. I'm not sure attacking the device with a vlan is the complete solution but will still deploy after I attack this printer.

Going to do a firmware to latest before I setup the vlan.
