Asus RT-n66u

New Around Here
Hello,

I connected my modem (Bbox from Bouygues Telecom) on Wan port of my Asus RT-n66u. Since the last update firmware of modem, the loopback is disabled : I cannot use the public IP in order to access to my server from my local network. I have to use local ip. Is there a way to configure Asus RT-n66u in order that it does a loopback if public IP is called from inside network ?

Thanks

add to your C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Ive got the RT-AC66u model with latest firmware and the loop back is set to merlin by default. Never had a problem using external ip to connect to servers. Mind you i did make portforward/virtualserver entry's.
