looks like they brought out a new colour W white , some people like to colour match components . Smart move .

I'm thinking about picking one up to cascade off my current RT-N66U. Love the white color.

I want one in blue with yellow LEDs and a red poweradapter ;-)
If we start to worry about the colour of our routers, it means all other troubles are solved :-)

Hmmm...the "Dark Knight" in white...seems like it might be a mistake. I'd hold onto that one, probably has collector value.

*smile*

They can call it "White Knight" now.:D

Next on my ToDO list: an option to make the LEDs brighter, to turn Stealth Mode into Obvious Mode.

In ancient times we had black dial telephones:

Then people wanted to have them white:

We talk about 1961, there was a rumour that for the production of white models, the factory first fabricated all scales gray before the machine finally was settled from black to white.
To produce black models again, production took again time, along the whole gray scale from white to black.
I am curious to Asus's story behind the RT-N66W ;-)

On a similar topic, do you know why the Ford T was black?

That's because after testing different paints, that black paint was the one drying the fastest, allowing them to speed up production.
