Asus time machine?

I've never owned a Asus router and searching Google suggests that this only works with Apple Macs, Is that correct?

Time Machine is a feature of IOS/Apple devices.

Not IOS, which is for iPhones and iPads, but just Mac OS, for Apple computers.

As much as i like the look of Asus it seems to be full of features i would never use, or in this case can't use.
