USB 2.0 has a theoretical limit of 480Mbps - real world is just over half of that I believe (~280Mbps or so). The radios themselves in the adapter I'm sure can do up to 867Mbps but you won't see that kind of performance due to the obvious limitations of USB 2.0.

the usb 3.0 would do what the pcie card does witch is around 55-65 megabytes a second but still...30-40 on usb 2.0 is great

Can the Asus USB-AC53 Adapter work with Mac OSX?
If so how do you install the adapter? There is no instruction in the booklets or on the asus website.
