Stay away from wifi 7 unless you want to be beta testing/complaining unless your needs and physical environment is very simple. Premium cost and more aggravation currently. Maybe by the end of next year it will be mature.

I have no answer to this question. Ubiquiti UDR7 and UX7 have similar Wi-Fi to ASUS RT-BE92U. All are tri-band 2-stream with close to maximum EIRP (power + antenna gain) where allowed. I expect they will all perform about the same limited by local Wi-Fi regulations. Ubiquiti has MUCH better software than ASUS with more advanced features and doesn't require data sharing to 3rd party companies. ASUS on the other hand is more user friendly device and cheaper.

If you want mesh with dedicated wireless backhaul - there is nothing in UniFi products line. You have to look for consumer products and hope they work well in your country. Many countries have one only non-DFS range on 5GHz band. Tri-band devices force the wireless backhaul on non-guaranteed DFS or on shorter range 6GHz band. You have to know technical details and set realistic expectations. Otherwise you'll spend time and money in experiments.
