ASUS XT-8 cannot disable channel 12/13

I’m having problems with 2.4 WiFi channels on my XT-8

When I set the channel selection to auto and UNCHECK use channels 12 and 13, it still uses channel 13.
This is a problem because one of my devices goes offline when channel 13 is used.
Any advice?

Try setting a fixed channel 1,6,11 or 1,5,9 at 20 MHz. Don't use Auto channels so it won't use channel 13.

That’s what I’ve done for now. But I want it to change channels if it needs to. Just not to channel 12 or 13

You can't have that. I would settle on the least congested channel and stake it out as your own and let all of the other Auto users dance around you.
