ATT Fiber & GT-AX11000

New Around Here
So I’m new to all this so forgive me if I’m missing something. I recently got att gig fiber and connected it via pass through mode to my
gt-ax11000. From reading here I found out that AiProtection puts a huge hit on my speeds. Also when I run speed test I average 600 up and 600 down on WiFi. My question is , is there a way to have AiProtection on without the speed penalty? Also if 600 up and 600 down normal for a 1 gig connection? I have WiFi set up as dual band smart connect .

Don't use built-in speed test. Test with wired PC instead. Wi-Fi speeds depend on your client capabilities and Wi-Fi environment. Wi-Fi is dynamically changing shared medium and your average speeds are okay. Read my post to another member below. Read it twice. Thank you!
