I have the Asus ZenWifi XT8, hardware version 1 - one router and one matched node - both running Gnuton's firmware, 3004.388.9_2-gnuton2.
Awhile back, I believe I read somewhere that there was now an auto-update function for Gnuton firmware, but I'm not sure how to implement it.
In my router's Administration section, on the Firmware Upgrade tab, my settings are as pictured below.
Under Firmware Version, if I click the Check button (next to Check Update), will that download the latest version (3004.388.10_2-gnuton1) from GitHub?
For the router and the node, if I click the Upload link (where it says manual firmware update), will that then install the update? Or do I need to download it to my computer first?
Is there some way to implement automatic updates for the gnuton software, so that this would happen without my intervention?
Thanks!
