AX-88U Pro failing?

Very recently I have been intermittently losing Internet for the whole house. A modem/router reboot rarely solves it. Sometime just time resolves it, weird. Attached is the log from when it last went down. What does 'crash log' mean? I think the router is failing.

thanks

For context, what is the specific firmware version being run on the router. If running Asus-Merlin, what addon scripts are you running.
PS: In the system log, approx what time did the internet service drop?
Another PS: You have calls for Wireguard in the log file, provide more information about your VPN setup. In general the more information about your setup that you can provide wil help others possibly diagnose what is happening.

It last went down about 3am today. The date in the log is wrong for some reason. I was on the patio enjoying an early morning coffee, listening to a Google speaker and down it went. I do use a WG VPN (Ivpn.net). A pretty straightforward configuration i think.

What does that mean? Provide more information about your setup, router configuration including what specific firmware the router is running.

I thought I had added that. Scattered at best today. Merlin 3006.102.5
Are you running any addon scripts? If so which one's, be specific. You appear to have a USB device attached to the router. What sort of USB device is attached to the router?

I am not sure how to explain it. It is just WG with the simple configuration the vendor supplied. I see since my last reboot it is not connecting.

I believe it is a 16g USB drive. It really is not needed for the time being. I had Diversion and Skynet but uninstalled both. I planned to reinstall them.

Disable the Wireguard VPN and test if the router looses internet access.
Further troubleshooting steps are to disable any addon scripts and test if the router looses internet access. Disconnect the USB device and test if the router looses internet access. Check the USB drive for errors on a computer.

Any other VPNs in use? What are your VPN Director settings?

Will do. Thanks

If you must use a USB storage device try using an SSD drive instead if you are currently using a USB flash drive. Flash drives are typically note designed for heavy read/write access and tend to fail quickly based on the many past posts on these Asus router subforums.
