AXE routers MESH with router without 6Ghz ac86 ?! With one SSID ? will it work ? Looking to buy AXE7800 to replace My main AC86 as it not able to deliver 1G internet not even on lan max speed is 650Mb..

Arris makes a 6E only single or mesh plug in to add 6ghz. Iirc it's $190 for a single node and there's a new one that just popped up they sell in pairs for $380 that covers all 3 bands.

I am using ET12 together with XD6/XD6S in AiMesh at locations where 6GHz connections are not desirable/not needed. They work with all 5GHz/2.4GHz SSIDs sync'ed to the XD6/XD6S.
