Be prepared: DynDNS free Accounts end in 30 days

I know, it's old news. Dyn announced it about a year or two ago to shut down the free DynDNS service but now the time has come.
Edit 1:
Log into your existing (free) account and upgrade to the (not free) plan you can afford / fancy.

If I get a new account now (for free) will it be converted to a paid account? Or will signing up now be worth anything at all?

(Not for me; I'm thinking for my customers possible future needs).

Not sure what happens when you just leave it be. It'll simply stop working if you do nothing.
I am sure they welcome new paying customers.
