BE58U vs BE82U vs something else for AIMesh wifi-connected node?

@Seth Harman has 2x RT-BE58U nodes and may eventually share experience.

Yep. They're both being used as AiMesh nodes and work perfectly (I'm using wired backhaul). They don't support wired VLAN on the LAN ports but Guest Network Pro works well on them and both 2.4 and 5GHz are fully available under this mode.

Thanks for the info. You mentioned they are both nodes -- what router are you using as the main/master then?

RT-AX88U Pro. Most people in here put their router info in their signature that appears at the bottom of any post or reply they make, so if you're ever curious what someone is using you can usually look there.
