BE92U firmware question

The stock Asus firmware for BE92 version 38961 says factory-default reset to activate every new security adjustment. So, if I upgrade to this version now and reset everything, do I have to do it again when the Merlin version comes out? Or maybe just wait for the Merlin version?

If Asuswrt-Merlin if your firmware of choice - just ignore and wait for the next Asuswrt-Merlin.

In the past, I have alternated between Merlin and stock but you are probably correct.

If you shift between Merlin and stock (and back again?) then it is recommended to factory reset every time you shift.
Why not stay on Merlin? Mine is running fine.

Your Model RT-BE92U has been a sshitt-show since it was released. Try reading other online reviews and problems. Things don't appear to be getting any better.
