Your Model RT-BE92U has been a sshitt-show since it was released. Try reading other online reviews and problems. Things don't appear to be getting any better.

I've been debating in my head whether to reply to this or not, but I caved, so here we go. I'm not here to start a fight, just to offer a different opinion.
I think calling the RT-BE92U a "sshitt-show" is a bit extreme.
I've had the running RT-BE92U continuously since May (now September) and I have not had any issues with it.
Yes, some people have had terminal issues with this model, but not every one (and I might just be that lucky one

). And remember, when people have issues with something, forums are the best/first place to go to sort it out.
It hasn't crashed on me, although it gets a restart every FW upgrade, so the longest it has continuously run is ~30d.
Every FW I have used seems to have had a memory leak, which is probably the cause of a lot of the crashes people are experiencing. It would start off at about 250MB free memory after a restart and by the time the next FW arrived, it would be about 200MB or just under. The most recent FW (3.0.0.6.102_38962) has improved on this and it started with about 260MB free and is just under 230MB in over 20d since the last update. So better, but still not fixed. Not as good as my RT-AC68U, which would run for months showing about the same amount of free memory.
There are some basic things that should work, but don't, like URL filtering in the firewall. (Can't stop the kids watching TikTok like I could with my old RT-AC68U!

)
It is not great, but it is not bad either.
For an average user, outside of this forum, who is scared of adjusting settings, it would be fine.
For some one like me, who keeps an eye on things and is happy to play with settings, I'd recommend it.
For a power user expecting perfection and 100% up time, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
For reference:
I am not running the default settings, having changed at least one setting on just about every page.
I have a family, including screen addicted kids and a "it must always work, when I want it to" wife and they have neither complained about a loss in internet connection, nor do I think they noticed I upgraded the router. I think that is a good test in itself.
I'd consider my household usage to be light to medium, having devices ranging from WiFi4 to 7 and use all 3 bands, as well as wired connections. I have 5 or 6 IOT devices. MLO is off and I'm not using mesh. (MLO and IOT have been reported as a problem.) There are at least 10 APs that live within range of me competing for the air waves.
And yes, now that I have said how great it is, I'm worried it will fail tonight when my wife and I sit down to relax in front of the TV.
