BE92U roaming issues between 5/6ghz bands.

Saw a good deal at best buy for this plus 15% with old router recycling, so decided to bite the bullet even though I saw reports of alot of issues. I am only planning to run it as AP only with AI mesh nodes. So far, the only issue I am having is devices transitioning between 5/6ghz and vice versa. Only testing in wifi 6e ax, wifi 7 mode turned off.

When using smart connect + same ssid network, my phone will switch between 5/6ghz when I cross the signal quality thresholds and the data works for like ~10 seconds. Then the data stops working and my phone drops wifi to cellular, before hoping back to wifi after 20 -30 seconds or so.

When using a dedicated ssid for each 5/6ghz band. My phone will switch to 5ghz when 6ghz signal goes low, but is inconsistent switching back to 6ghz network when i get back in good range.

I havent even added my ai mesh node yet, which is an ax58u v2 and only 5ghz will be meshed. With the ax58u, it worked seamlessly with an ac68u mesh node, but those were 5ghz only.

Never jump into conclusions when testing with single client. The client may have issues switching between 5GHz and 6GHz bands, you don't know. For this particular client it doesn't matter what band it till be connected to. You have purchased a device with known connectivity issues just because of "good deal", the intended use makes almost all features on it useless and you are wasting time to test functionality with no real life user experience improvements. I guess, you have extra time and money to burn.
