Does anyone have the new RT-BE9700U or details about beyond the Asus web site? It seems like a decent mid-level tri-band WiFi7 router to replace my RT-AC68U. I'm also confused as it also is known as the BE92U?? Are they actually the same?
(Not sure why the links are resolving as German in the previews, as they are for the US site.)

It seems like a new marketing name for an old device with issues history.

Software issues, and they are getting resolved.

Awesome. This router was released around Jan 2025. Any word about multiple hardware revisions currently on... V6.0? Seems like the issues were more than software related. No other model has so many revisions.

I don't have any info regarding the numerous revisions.

Asus did something similar with tthe RT-AX58U/RT-AX56U as well in the previous gen, which makes me wonder if it's inherent to these bcm67xx models. Perhaps they are just more agressively trying to reduce costs due to smaller profit margins than the higher end models, these new revisions don't necessarily mean they are hardware fixes.

Back in the day, I also remember the RT-N12 that had countless revisions and variants released during its lifetime. Another entry level model that probably had razor thin profit margins.
