Beta thread advice needed

Fellow addon developers, I need a little advice on how best to proceed.

I have a beta for my modsyslogui with new PRESET functionality. Should I use my existing ModSyslogUI v1.0.2 thread here in the forum or would it be better to start a new thread. Then after the beta is completed, I just update the existing ModSyslogUI thread with the new v1.1.0 title + updated info in post #1

I suggest a beta thread, this keeps all the hullabaloo out of the main thread, keeping it focused on release versions.
