Bought an E4200 WHich Version is this!

Okay I bought a new E4200 on Amazon the listing was under V1 but what I got was a V2 with firmwire Firmware Version: 2.0.26 but Im not able to upgrade it to the NEW cicso smart connect firmwires from Version 1 and Version 2 say incorrect file.

The Box says N750 which makes me think its the V1 but the bottom of the router says V2 as the firmwire is too but I keep getting incorrect image file when trying to update the router with V2 or V1.

Look on the label, if it doesn't have a version, then assume it is version 1.0 - linksys is pretty good about labeling things.

in any event, if it's working, then leave it alone

worst case - touch base with Linksys directly - you have a warranty after all..
