Just curious if anyone has thought about doing an article on building your own access point using old systems and or something like this along with An Intel Ultimate-6300. From the spec sheet, it does support simultaneous dual-band functionality when in AP mode, so adding it to a cheap Atom board, or if you want it to look pretty, an NUC, you would have something that is probably overkill, but could perform really well. We always use Intel cards as the gold standard on the client side, why not give them a try on the access point side of things?
