New Around Here
Apologies if this has been asked before, I did a search of the forum but couldnt find this answered in 10 pages of search results.

I have been using Merlin now for 18 months I guess replacing my Sky Fibre router which uses MER (the reason why I went with ASUS & Merlin). Its a fab firmware, but I see now Asus do a router that has a Fibre modem built in.

I would love to lose the separate fibre modem & save electricity & another electric socket, but before I go an buy an Asus DSL-AC68U router, I just needed to check to see if I can continue to use Merlin custom firmware, since Sky require MER means Merlin custom firmware is a must.

Can anyone confirm?

Thanks!

Merlin firmware does not support Dsl models as far as i know.

ok thanks for response. I think the DSL version now supports MER out of the box - will try it out.
