Wow this sounds promising . I was having trouble with my powerapn running HD streams on udpxy and bought a wrt1200ac which arrives today.

I will try the Astra for ar71x see if it improves. Could anyone compile it for the wrt1200ac (mvebu - caiman)?

you need arm binary, I have arm which I used on ac56u

chmod +x /jffs/astra
/jffs/astra all commands what u need

So it was almost 10 years ago, but maybe someone still has that arm binary. I've upgraded from AC66U to BE88U and obviously mips binary doesn't work on arm-based model.

Nevermind, I was surprised that BE88U is aarch64-based model. Problem was solved by installing Entware and then installing astra from its repo.
Same way it could be installed for arm-based models etc.
