Cannot Access RT-AC87U interface ?

i cannot access the interface of my rt-ac87u in safari on my MacBook pro, but its ok in safari on my iPad, can anyone help please?

Are you accessing it by name or IP? If accessing it by HTTPS did you store the certificate in the Keychain?

Hi, thanks for your reply, think you may have something with the certificate, this is what I sometimes get when trying router.asus.com, not sure what to do next ?

Click "Continue". This is because your router doesn't run a public website, with a certificate emitted by a known commercial entity. This is normal.

Ok thanks, I'll try that, the only other thing that comes to mind is, i can access the routers AiCloud feature ok in Safari on my MacBook Pro, but not the router settings, just wondering if that's blocking? the settings somehow ?

Yeah, click the checkbox beside Always trust... Should work than when accessing it via router.asus.com as well. I suspect you probably did an Always trust for the AiCloud options as well. Might want to do this as well so a new cert won't get generated after each reboot of the router. A new one will be created the next time you update the firmware and would need to rerun the commands mentioned: #2
