New Around Here
Hiya I just bought an RT-AX86U and have set up with merlin 386.4.

I was trying to configure to access my Bridge modem from a LAN connected device and wanted to add a script to accomplish this to the JFFS partition. Only problem is, when I go to Administration > System, there's no option to enable JFFS custom scripts and the Wiki suggests there should be. Am I missing something? I have tried SCPing into /jffs/ but there is no /scripts/ subfolder and I can't create one using WinSCP as the partition seems to be read only....

Where am I going wrong, or is this a bug?

You don't appear to be running Merlin's firmware. That looks like stock. What does it say the firmware version is at the top of the screen?

huh, that's weird. it says 3.00.4.386_41535

I had to install the firmware to set DHCP Option 61 for my ISP (Sky) - which work(s)... so.... hmmmm

No pantomime @ColinTaylor. Simply an aggregation of the best practices found right here on the forums.
