Can't Make Secured Connections Via Wireless

polyharmonic

New Around Here
Hello:

My setup is as follows:

Main router is a WD MyNet N900 Central. It is in normal router mode. Its Wifi SSID "MyNetN900".

The N900 router is connected to Asus RT-N56U router via ethernet. The N56U is in AP Mode. It has Wifi SSID is "AsusN56U".

If I connect to the N900 via ethernet to my laptop, I can access "secured" sites like those that start with https. If I connect to the N900 via "MyNetN900" however, I keep getting "Connection Timed Out" or such if I connect to https. However I can connect to non-secured websites fine. But if I connect to AsusN56U, I can connect to both secured and non-secured websites.

This phenomenon extends to other "secured connections" such as RemoteDesktop connection to my work machine, not just https. And this problem exists for two different laptops. So it appears to be a router/networking issue.

I tried resetting the N900 and this problem remains. I tried rebooting the laptops in "Safe Mode" and the phenomenon remains.

Can somehow help me figure out how to solve this?

Thanks in advance!
