Can't read mails when on LAN

Hi there. I really need some help PLEASE.

First i read this article, in hope that i could help me a bit.

But no luck, so now i try the forum out.

I run a mailserver on my Synology DS408 and i have had an Zywall2 as my firewall, no problems in reading my mails regardless if i was connected to LAN (iPad or PC) or WAN (3g via iPhone or external network).

Now i have changed the Zywall2 with a brand new Zywall USG-20 (for better protection and more speed) but now i can't read my mail when i'm connected to LAN only from the outside!

I have tried different settings in my NAT and firewall, but no luck getting through.

Anyone having an idea, what could be wrong in my setup?

Could be that the USG-20 doesn't support NAT loopback. So it is not resolving your mailhost from the LAN side.
You would need to change your mail clients to point to your NAS IP address for the mailserver.

I Can see there is a checkbox for NAT loopback, but i dont now How to setup the right rules!

I have also tried your tip and changed my mailserver address to the NAS ip, but it wont work

Enable the loopback checkbox. Set your clients back to the normal mailserver address.
You'll need to consult the manual or try ZyXEL support to get the correct rule set up. Sorry that I can't help further.
