Hi, I am trying to set up a SSL-VPN in my office with my new Cisco RVL200 router. The office setup is: The RVL200 has a static wan ip-address and is connected directly to the internet. On the lan-side the RVL200 has ip 192.168.1.1 and I have chosen mask 255.255.255.240. Two other routers are connected with cables, they have ip 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.3, they have the same mask. There is one subnet behind each of these two routers.
On the RVL200 I have a SSL VPN user and pw.
Then I go home and try to connect. I enter https and the static ip, and it works. I get into the router, and get to create a tunnel. I get the "house"-icon at the bottom of my screen showing that I have a tunnel. Problem is: I am not able to reach the resources on the lan-side of the rvl200.
* If I ping 192.168.1.1 I get a reply. It works.
* If I ping 192.168.1.2 I get no reply.
* If I ping 192.168.1.3 I get no reply.
I think I should be able to ping those two routers on the lan-side of the RVL200? What am I doing wrong here? Do I need to add a static route to a routing table or something? (in that case, please explain because I dont know much about this)
One other thing: what is the point in choosing 255.255.255.240 as mask and not 255.255.255.0 ?
